the friends meeting we attend has a beautiful nature trail on the property. noah is usually waking up and hungry during the meeting, so we take turns each week tending to him, so the other can sit in worship. this week, after feeding noah, i took him out to the nature trail and sat on one of the benches. he loved it so much! it was so peaceful ( Read more... )

What an upbeat and cheerful post. Makes me smile.
The flowers are beautiful.
I admire those who found their path...I am still searching for mine and at this time in my life I find myself more confused than ever.

i think our entire lives are spent seeking the Divine out and trying to figure where we stand.

i don't believe anyone is sure. i don't believe we can ever know in this life everything we want to. some people think that's disparaging but i don't think it is. not knowing is what gives us movement, is what makes us believe in something more than ourselves. too many people have given up on life because of what our society tells us life is. it's very easy to see that such a life can not bring you happiness and cannot give you meaning but we do our best to ignore it and make excuses for it. "everyone else is..." people will walk to their graves trying to buy into it, trying to keep up hope that what is told is truth and their time will come if they stay miserable for just a little longer ( ... )

Why did you have to say iced coffee? Now I am craving my daily dose of blueberry coffee cake and a chai tea latte. mmmmmm. I swear if I quit this addiction I wuold save so much money.

Those flowers are so pretty. I have often wondered if I put regular white flowers in dyed water if it would color the flower.

How lovely!

I really need to get out and see you three. I could stop by Saturday afternoon or sometime after work next week, if you're free!

I truly enjoyed that one, the way of the pîlgrim.

And frusciante, what can I say, I met my lovely wife negela because of our common love for frusciante though i must admit that I kind of got off the train after to record only water for ten days, though shadows was good also but I never really got into those last six cd's that he made. For me Niandra ladas and usually just a t-shirt will forever be his masterpiece.
