Thank you. It's a bit too southern for Tolkien but I enjoy reading so I just ignore that and hope everyone else does. : )

Poor Celeborn had so little to say in the films. I like your reading of this scene.

I know, and reading this made me realize how much he got cheated in the films. I'd forgotten completely how much he had to say in the book.

Such a lovely reading, GW! I'm from Texas and your southern accent made me feel right at home. :-D Poor Celeborn really got the short end of the stick in the films--he was really quite a wise and powerful elf!

I have to agree with Hildi and Janet. Celeborn was given short shrift in the movies, and you really don't understand how important an Elf he is. I suspect Tolkien would very much enjoy listening to your southern accent read his words. Anyway, I do! :D:D:D Thank you!
