It's really not fair to Islam that fanatics with extreme and distorted views get all the press, there's so much more to it. ::siiighs::

Buddhist imagery is lovely, though, I agree. My favorite image is the "Looking-Back Buddha" here in Kyoto . . . but one of the things I really love about Buddhism is the fact that a sense of humor seems to built into the religion. Stories like the one I mentioned abound, and I find it delightful.

Also, what a pretty new icon. :D Oh, that reminds me I like to look at people's uploaded icons, so I noticed that some of your usernames (of people who made the icons) are getting "bad username" errors.

I decided it was time for a change, so I switched in a new batch. :-) Thanks for the heads-up! I fixed the problem. Livejournal didn't like the font that my quotation marks were in, go figure. I don't even know how they got to be in a weird font . . . ah, well.
