Buddhist imagery is lovely, though, I agree. My favorite image is the "Looking-Back Buddha" here in Kyoto . . . but one of the things I really love about Buddhism is the fact that a sense of humor seems to built into the religion. Stories like the one I mentioned abound, and I find it delightful.
