Wow... *o* I'm simply impressed!!! It's just that your prose is... absolutely brilliant! Well, I may not be a pundit in the genre, but when I read your story, I felt that every sentence flowed very well. :)

Well, my favorite part is : "A stray beam of light illuminated them, so that his eyes seemed to glow while the rest of his face was thrown into darkness." and the whole paragraph is just flummoxing! =) Come to think of it, this excerpt could fit for next week's prompt as well... ;)

Ooh,its beauty lies in the splendid description and I am waiting for more of it.You are awesome when it comes to characters' emotions and excell at describing the background and surroundings,which adds flavor to the whole story.I love your creative imagination and the way you put them in words.
