i see you, as much of you as you show, and i love all of you. if you need to go away from yourself for a spell, i'll be waiting here when you return.

also: i comment! what are my five things?

It's always hard to come up with five things; one wants to get the best five, or the most appropriate, and generally fails to do so . . .

1.) the sea, and ships
2.) long, wonderful, handwritten letters
3.) glitter
4.) music, ever since that very first mix tape
5.) a certain Bear

I don't know the history and I doubt you'd want to tell me, but sometimes crying does help...D:

I thank you. :-) There is . . . really too much to tell, to tell anyone, and I am in the habit of not talking. More pleasant topics abound, anyway, so I generally prefer to devote what time we have for talking to them.

We are of the same opinion in that, at least.^_^; But if you should ever change your mind...well, I do seem to be the default go-to person for listening to problems and such.

On a more pleasant topic, would you like me to give you 5 things I associate with you? I haven't gotten around to it because my default 5 would've overlapped a lot with subsiding_leaf's, but if it'll provide a pleasant distraction, I already have a few and it wouldn't be hard to come up with a few more to make the quota of 5.^_^

We are perhaps in the same boat as far as that is concerned. ;-) Ah, well. Somebody's gotta do it, right?

Um, sure? If you feel so inclined? It will give me something to ramble about, I guess. I am trying to get out of my funk and into a more creative mindset, so rambling is always good. :-) If you have any specific writage requests do let me know, but I think I'm going to leave the classical instruments one to you. ::wants to read that rather than writing it!::

Thanks for elaborating on the 5 things! :) You are right, I do associate you with the Met because we met in person there, but at the same time I wouldn't associate a place with someone that I did not also feel meant something to them, beyond me. If, er, that made any sense at all.0_o

Yes, number 4 is good.^^ I specifically say that for you because I'm bad with effective description, so I try to be less poetic, more matter-of-fact about it. You manage the poetry very effectively though, and that expressiveness of language is what I most admire about your writing.

Finally, I am here as well, if you should need anyone. It is not a burden for your friends to help you, or--and I dare to make this assertion for your friends--we would not call ourselves your friends. I hope you feel better. *hugs*

Perhaps not a burden, but really there's nothing for anyone to do. There's nothing I can do, either. That might be the worst thing of all.

:(

I'm sorry. This reply is belated because I didn't know what to say. Instinctively I want to offer a patient ear, but I've learned that not everyone wants this, so....^^; *virtual hugs*

And maybe we can go somewhere together someday--I don't know if your invitation to travel with you to Thailand is still open.^^

I appreciate the offer, whether I take advantage of it or not. :-) It's not so much that I don't want anyone to listen, more that I just don't want to talk about it.

And of course I still want to go to Thailand. :-D Though this year I think it's going to be India . . .

muchly intriguing post (must get round to doing my own lots of 5 things.)

i haven't talked to you in awhile. i've been missing you. (though can't really blame anyone but myself, as i am chronically rubbish at communicating.)

is there any chance of you being around to skype next Sunday?

Talking would be muchly good, I think! Lessee, Sunday? I can definately be around in the evening, which would I believe be your morning/midday? What do you say? I am of course vastly curious about how things are going for you! :-D

sounds like a plan. is there a specific time you had in mind? i'm able to be about any time, as all the stuff i want to do that day is flexible time-wise.
