I've been back home for a week now, and haven't posted at all. That's partially due to my as-always busy schedule (how does that even work? I'm not going to aikido or shakuhachi!), but it's also due to the fact that, well, I've been avoiding writing anything. i wonder sometimes if everything to you is touched with melancholia to balance out the joy the rest of us see in everything you do.

the world always seems much more accessible, much more possible, when i'm out in it. i can't wait to see you in march.

I saw the announcement, but I appreciate the notification anyway. :-) Having been friends, we'll never be strangers, silly. And I like to think that such friends as we are not the weak kind that breaks under the pressure of distance and time and lack of communication. So no worries! Next time we're in the same geographical area we'll pick up where we left off. ;-)
