Captain Phasma dialogue analysis and transcript for TFA and tie-ins as of 7/7/2016

As distinctive a visual figure as she is, Captain Phasma has not actually had many lines. Yet few as they are, they are consistent, painting a very distinctive verbal picture. I don't have anything profound to say but I LOVE that you put so much thought into this. I only have TFA to go by as far as her character.

I wondered why they didn't just kill her instead of finding some garbage chute to dump her in, aside from it being handy for the plot to keep her around and have her thirst for vengeance? I mean, they had no problem shooting any stormtroopers who got in their way. Why not one of the enemy leaders?

Re: garbage chute, I think it's because killing her would be killing a disarmed prisoner in cold blood, when it really isn't necessary or helpful. Kind of pointlessly murdery.

Good point. I think more like a Sith than a Jedi... just get rid of the enemy in whatever way serves you best, who cares if it's moral or not? LOL
