Regaining sanity

I've got Kinkless mostly up and running now. Sanity is returning. The other night my software told me to empty the dishwasher and reload it and run it, and I did, and it was good.

I was talking to 14limes about how much trouble I was having without my software, and he called what had happened to me a "digital stroke." That's about right. (Matt, where ( Read more... )

I find it amusing that the program you're using is called "Kinkless". So inappropriate.....

Seems like one should be careful about this whole GTD software thing. Who knows what sort of nefarious things could happen if your database fell into the wrong hands and someone started adding extra things to be done.

And speaking as an AI programmer, there are endless possibilities for the enslavement of the human race by GTD robots.

The closest I've come to what you're doing was by running LifeBalance on my now-dead Palm Pilot. It drove me nuts, so I took it off.

"Digital stroke" is attributable, in this case, to Gordon Bell of Microsoft. Not sure whether he coined it.
