Thanks! I probably won't be doing this one because of all the complications! But there is another one in July that I think I'm going to do!

Thanks! I'm totally scared to have kids but totally excited at the same time! I'm mainly nervous about how it's going to work when I have to go back to work nf I'm working in the city. But my sister always says "it's not ideal but you make it work!"

OOO awesome!

My cousin, who's also a teacher, is pregnant with her first child right now, so the whole working-more-than-an-hour-away-from-home thing is fresh on her mind. But her attitude seems to be that of your sister's -- it's workable.
I hope to get back to the US in August to hear some good news, Miss ;-)

I think you could make it work if you're only four months pregnant. However, that is kind of a borderline time. If you do become pregnant you might be more concerned about what will happen to the baby at the time of the race, and therefor not want to compete. Speaking with a Dr. sounds like a great idea. To be able to get professional opinions would greatly outweigh any advice any of us could offer.

I hate being in that sort of situation where someone really seems like the don't want to do something, but when you find someone else they seem offended. I can appreciate her desire to want to do everything and go crazy with over achievement, it DOES sound like her heart is in the right place, but unfortunately there's just not enough time int he day to do everything and do it all WELL. Don't feel bad about it. It is your race and she gave the impression she might not want to do it. She can't expect you to wait around for her answer and then have no time to find someone else to compete with.
