Some of you may recall I suggested at the end of my last post that it felt like we really needed a thunderstorm.
Well, we got it.

Yesterday, in the space of two hours, Christchurch was struck by lightning 2000 times. YES. Apparently some kind of record! No damage or anything, but it was very beautiful ( Read more... )

Aha I was TOTALLY going to send you an email being all demanding and sulky and entitled about the you-know-what email and now I'm all placated and soothed. You're like vicks vapour rub in comment form.

And, if that cat put its finger in an electrical socket it would look like BW who is actually quite fluffy. And I THINK a little mentally challenged. But I'm not sure, he's a cat, after all, none of whom are true geniuses.

It didn't work though, did it? Although there was a lot of tension. And brotherly exchanges of heated glances. And that's ALMOST as good!

Today, I suggest that it feels like we REALLY need Sam to kiss Dean ON THE LIPS next Thursday. Yes indeed. That is what we need.

Hmmm we've just had like, four average to chilled days in a row, which is actually quite standard and not unpleasant but I'm all acclimated to hot hot sun. I'm never satisfied with the weather, I think it's a NZ thing.

How is your work going??

You totally need to start watching that show. Because it's AWESOME.

And yes, the lightning was all sheet lightning rather than forked but it was at times like someone playing with a lightswitch!!

FINALLY getting around to some replies... and it feels like Obama's been in for ages. He's being so effective and just awesome and that's FREAKING WONDERFUL.

I had a dream the whole Obama family came and stayed at my house. They were quite charming and we had a lot of fun and some deep political conversations. I'm such an Obama nerd.
