The one kind of spoiler that's starting to bother me

I'm not really that bothered by spoilers, generally. They don't really ruin anything for me, they just change the experience. I didn't think there'd ever be a way to avoid nearly all spoillers... but turning into a semi hermit starting when I was at Stout, not having any TV channels except pbs, and never going out to the movies because I had too much homework to do ended up working out really well. Now, I've only seen like 7 new movies since 2001 but baby steps...

I never thought of it this way, but you're right: these kinds of spoilers alter your whole context of the movie as you watch it. You're seeking out those examples that might otherwise be not so obvious (or maybe not really there in some cases). It's like someone telling you to watch for people with pink hair--all of a sudden they're everywhere because you've tuned your internal filters to notice it.

On the other hand, all the noise about Men's Right's Activists being against Fury Road has made me slightly MORE interested in seeing it than I otherwise would have been.

Getting more specific, because I don't have any advice on the general topic - Once you see Fury Road, I'd be happy to talk about where I think that judgement comes from. I happen to not agree with it.
