Yum/Ick

I just had 3 fillings done at the dentist, and then went and picked up lunch for us. The whole left side of my mouth is just starting to come back and report in. Muscle control is there. Pressure sensitivity is there. But taste buds on the left half of my tongue and heat/cold sensitivity are completely dead. And I'm drinking a blackberry milkshake

Three! What prompted the fillings?! Pain? Just time to get three teeth drilled for the fun of it?

My life felt incomplete somehow, and I thought, I know! Painful dentistry!

No, with the move here to Ellensburg I lost my old dentist, and I'm the sort of person who doesn't even think about it unless they are sending me reminders that you should get a checkup etc. So I let it go too long, and finally went in for a cleaning a few weeks ago after its now been about a year and a half since my last one. And they found a few little starts of cavities. All three of these fillings were little ones and they did 'em all in less than an hour.
