Oh wow, that was very depressing. I guess it's life-like and realistic, but it doesn't make it any harder to read! Thanks for an other chapter though :)

First of all, thank you for the dedication, I am thrilled to have a chapter dedicated to me!

I'm glad I unleashed the devil in you and you went ahead and posted, there's nothing here but perfection as always so it would have been a shame not get it out there immediately.

I love the subtleties in the relationship between Duncan and Steve and how there is so much NOT being said between all of them. They're a very symbiotic group of friends aren't they?

And poor Tina, she is teenage unrequited love personified.

Another interesting and thought provoking chapter that still isn't giving much away in terms of where we're going.

How I love to see this icon, it means a lot!

I fair had to take one of my calm pills before posting 'solo' (not really, honest), such a headrush it was ;) I am sorry you weren't up to it at the time, but I appreciate your opinion here just as much.

Happy to know this worked in the bigger story; I love these brothers, and am fond of Tina.

Thank you.

I haven't read this yet. I am at our summer cottage and internet connections are so bad here. I am waiting to read about our guys first thing when I am coming home ;)

Great chapter even though it was so sad. Everything seems so hopeless. I wish Des could come and live with him and his brother. That would be a good solution for everyone. Looking for ward to the next chapter.

Back at home, no bears showed up:)

Loved the chapter like always, the way you are writing this story makes it so real. I like the pace, how things are developing not so quickly just like in real life. There is not a snap of fingers what would make everything better at once.

I too am enjoying to read interaction between Steve and Duncan. I feel for Des, he sounded so hopeless now. Despite having his own flaws, Duncan seems to have a heart in the right place, could he help both guys?

Hi now you can see how much this story is affecting me when I am beginning to try solve their problems:)

Thank you for this new chapter:)

hugs

Hey, Mimmi, SO sorry I forgot to reply to your comment! I swear my memory gets worse. Apologies. A fairy godmother would be perfect for these boys right now, but sadly Duncan's not quite up to that :(

Thank you for caring so much. There's another chapter up whenever you're ready for it... bears permitting!

Hugs.
