"It's quite lovely," she said from the comfort of her own not-snowed-in home, thankful that there is a great wide ocean between here and there; hopeful that your snowball throwing arm isn't quite that good. :\

My sympathies ~

Hee! I was cobbing snowballs tonight, but only at one of the trees in an attempt at having some exercise in the past three days :D

Knowing how your weather often reflects ours, you might well end up with some of this, I hope it is just some! Oh, it is very pretty though, I can't deny.

:D

Reflecting it is, to a small degree - we've had hefty bouts of flurries yesterday and today, maybe something more substantial over the weekend. Isn't it odd how we share so much weather? ;)

Official confirmation, thanks!

It is ridiculously fluffy - I had chance for a little playtime this evening (Bloke was home early and I had to venture out to post a letter, and it took so long to tog up, thought I might as well make the most of it!!) and it's complete powder. It looks like a crazy stage prop!

Couldn't even make a decent snowman :D

Haha! I was thinking of you in all this, actually. Never mind snow cake, you could make about twenty wedding cakes with this lot!

If the Boy was well, we would have had SO much fun in it.

The first snow is always the prettiest, IMO. We've had 16" (in two snowfalls) already this year, so I'm quite over it, lol.

Didja at least get to make a snowman?

Ack! Minnesotan! 16 inches? What part of the state?

In the Cities, actually (NW metro). We got about a foot of the white stuff a couple of weeks ago, and 3-4 inches last week, just before Thanksgiving. Weirdly, I don't think the south metro has had near that amount of snow. *shrugs*

Fortunately, it's been warm-ish since then, so there's been a thaw.

Er...I'm in Dakota county. We had a blizzard that took down small trees and snapped branches clean off the bigger ones. Hi neighbor!

Wow, you're actually getting the kind of snow we always get. Congratulations. Hopefully yours, at least, will melt before May.

Ugh. Early November and we had snow coming down so heavy it KNOCKED OVER TREES. Can we officially declare global warming a real thing now? This is all to crazy to be normal.

See, this is still a poor effort on our part!

Thankfully, my trees are holding up so far...

And it has finally stopped snowing, at least :D
