My dreams are not generally made of these....

Ha ha ha! Also, since there has been much talk of random dreams of late, I thought I'd add my hormonal nonsense to the mix ( Read more... )

dreams, random

So you play characters in your dreams too? I'm glad I'm not alone in that... Ever had someone in a dream be a combination of two people you know in real life?

I've only ever had one David Tennant dream, which is strange considering how huge a crush I have on him. He was standing outside the store where I work, holding a magazine which he effectively stole, and beckoning me to come with him. :P

Ah, is this one of those things that we don't think is weird until everyone looks at us a bit squinty?! Yup, I sure do play characters - perhaps I could blame watching too much telly when I was younger, or maybe it was the constant role playing in my head when I was fed up with being boring old me!

With the two people thing, yes indeedy, but I don't tend to realise until I'm trying to describe it to someone: "Yes, I was chatting away to X, who actually turned out to by Y, well, at least, that's sort of what happened...", and then I realise I am making no sense at all!

I count myself extremely fortunate to have had not one but two highly erotic dreams about Mr. Tennant! He just seems such a confident, sexual sort of guy, and clearly my libido thinks so too. They were such detailed dreams that I fair blushed when I saw him on my TV screen again.

He stole things in your dream? What a scamp! And a temptor! What sort of store do you work in? I too am a slave to retail.

Lucky you wiht the erotic dreams about DT! I've only, well recently, had that sort of dream with Harry Lloyd, and even then it was weird!

Everybody thinks I'm just strange that I can remember my dreams in such detail as I do. Often, there will be background music that I swear I've never heard before, my subconscious is just making it up. But that part I can never remember well enough when I wake up :(

I work in a fabric/crafts store. The only reason being that I needed a break from theatre (I do costumes) and now there are no theatre jobs. I like to think retail chose me, I didn't choose retail. It is sometimes quite a bit like slavery, isn't it?

I've heard that the more you try and remember dreams (or talk about them, or write them down) the better your mind gets at remembering!

Now a Harry Lloyd related dream, that I could live with!

I'm always waking up and laughing at some joke that was really funny in the dream - alas, the only time I've remembered the joke, it was deeply unfunny in the cold light of day!

Ah, retail. I love it and hate it, all at once. I'm sure it can be just as dramatic working in a shop as in the theatre!

I do, and I know!! What a lovely minx she is! (I like to think it was a rub on behalf of all the fangirls out there.)

It did make a wonderful change to have an enjoyable dream for once, with one thing and another I've been having some shockers recently.

While I'm more of a Jared sort of person, I'd still take Jensen any day of the week!

Lol - you are not the only one with strange dreams....

The weird thing about my dreams is that they often are in parts, continuing the plot in the next night. And recently I had a very cool gloomy, horror movie-like dream so full of suspense I really got angry at my bf waking me up in the middle of it because it was day again. Oh noes, now I'll never learn how it was supposed to end ! =(

Wow! I'd love some of my dreams to continue like that. It would sure save trying to come up with stories in front of the computer!

The funniest interruption I've had in recent years was when I was dreaming (after much LJ discussion on the subject) that Jonas Armstrong (Robin Hood, BBC) was about to tell me how tall he really is. Just as he opened his mouth to tell me, my friend woke me up to tell me it had snowed!! Denied!

Maybe if you wait patiently, your brain will show a repeat of the ending!

Hee! Splendid iconage!

The action may not have gone far, but the dancing was close enough for me to reveal that Dream!Dean sure isn't a shy boy. And he sure can move those feet...

*stop! Thief!*

Oh, go on then, spread the joy!

If you run, you should be able to catch her - he looks like quite a load to carry off at any speed.

According to the dream, he hadn't had any for a while (which sounded much smoother when I was asleep, and far less skanky!) so he should be good to go for a while yet.

*evil cackles while pimping out Dream!Dean*
