print news is important, but may be surpassed by technology. the internet can get information out quicker. it will be a sad day when newspapers die, but they're on their way out. circulation is way down. newspaper sites like the times that used to be a paid membership are now free... i like holding the paper in my hands. i like the way my fingers

I think print is going to be very similar to the same fate as records, 35 mm film, and other outdated amazing media. As a graphic designer I know most design is moving to computer, but because every computer monitor is different and very few people know how to properly adjust colors, your design will always look different. Print will be good for things like that... and there will always be a poor class that doesnt have the internet to look at news. But with a huge push to environmentalism and other ideas, print is sadly a dying trend.
