Envy waited at the appointed meeting place, a little French Inn somewhere in the countryside. Wanting to play up his feminine attributes a bit, the Homunculus decided to go for something a bit more revealing than he had originally planned. If Lavi wanted to see him in something backless... well, Envy certainly wasn't going to disappoint!

Fortunately making the reservations was the first thing on Lavi’s agenda when he and Envy had gone their separate ways giving him plenty of time to take care of his wounds and sort through his wardrobe in the process. The Exorcist had promised to be a little unorthodox, but for some reason he was more interested in what his date was going to wear for the evening. The mischievous look the redhead had been left with was definitely promising something

Uncertain as to whether or not he’d heard right, that Envy was actually giving him the green light in this instance Lavi could do nothing but stare for a long hard…and probably very stupid moment. Once the reality of the Homunculus’s words started to sink in Lavi sprung into action immediately, “well if y’ really want to then let’s ditch the dining room!”

In his haste to leave the Bookman almost forgot the bill, almost, he was on his feet when he remembered to pay with tip for hassling the maître d' while he was taking their order. Afterward he was quick to scoop up the remainder of their dessert and and gave a silent, encouraging nod towards the exit where the back rooms were. One of these rooms he’d paid for and as requested for by Envy there was a bathroom.

There was actually a more specific reason he wanted to get to their room, other than sheer excitement that Lavi was keeping devotedly in check. Envy had promised the Bookman that he would get a striptease and this was what all of the enthusiasm was about.

And Envy was content to let the Bookman do all the heavy-lifting-he was the man in this instance, wasn't he?-and followed him to their room at Lavi's urging. The Homunculus gave the room a quick once over while the Bookman laid out the remainder of their desserts on the table. A full-sized bed. Silk curtains. Teak furnishings. A plush throw rug. Yes, this was certainly a room that suited Envy's rather expensive tastes
