Very poignant ending thoughts, I can totally relate. It took finding the right person in my life the push me down the path of really growing up, and even though it's been a long, hard road. Realizing that we each are truly capable is an amazing feeling! Finding your passion and following it, oh so empowering. But to let go of that feeling of immortality..well, that's not so easy to do. But feel my age is a good thing, and seeing my kids flourish gives me incredible hope. That makes it easier to embrace the passing of time ( ... )

It's inspiring to hear more and more folks talk about potentially bringing together permaculture and primitive skills/reindigenation, and is some consolation for missing the one major thing I felt the Hudson Valley had over here. Not that there aren't programs like that in Ithaca, but I felt welcomed in with open arms there, and here, not so much; maybe that's turning around now.

It was a good dance Friday: I hope you'll be able to get on the floor before long, and I look forward to sharing more in-person conversations (and music and food) as the days grow short.
