After 3.5 hrs of laying in a hospital bed yesterday, and plenty of poking and prodding (not including when the nurses came in!), I've been cleared with a still happy, healthy, albeit very annoying baby.

While I was at work yesterday morning, I'd started to get really strong cramps (sidenote: apparently doughnuts give him the hiccups too...) across ( Read more... )

good to hear you both are okay. i had a similar thing go down like that about the same time. i got the same go home advice. its also amazing the lack of sensitivity in the nursing/secretary staffs some places. makes you want to beat them with a bat, which being preggy you might actually get away with since you are all hormonal.

Apparently baby just wanted to be mean to mommy, now that I'm home and resting my appetite has like... tripled. I usually snack every couple of hours during the day, but I still don't eat *that* much... And I almost NEVER eat during the night because it makes me sick in the morning.
Today I've had ...
I forget what I ate at like 11ish last night the first time I woke up.
2ish I had a few handfuls of Raisinets.
4ish I had a chunk of Hawaiian bread (yummyyyyy!)
8 I had a couple of doughnuts.
Since then I've had a banana, a few bites of ice cream, another half a bag of Raisinets, and I'm currently cutting myself up a cucumber >.> And it's only like 11...

So no real "meals" as of yet, but still snacking WAYYY more than usual.
Little bastage.
Obtw did I tell you I'm starting to leak regularly now? x.x yayyyy! x.x

lansinoh brand nursing pads. they are the only ones i found that work. start using them they'll save you laundry and get used to sleeping in your bra. and i feel like i've been eating like that too. the nursing makes me starving somedays. i ate and entire peach crisp i made in two days.
i justify it.
fresh peaches are good for you.
so is outmeal and thats what the topping was.
adn if i add ice cream (which i only did once) its dairy.
so 3 food groups covered.
