Sorry, It wasn't newspapers, it was old magazines. The newspapers left paint on my hands.
Why?
At some point my grandmother figured out that tearing up paper calmed me down, so whenever I cryed for no real reason she would give me some paper to play with. My mom hated her for that, she was always afraid I might get papercuts. X)
