Wow Aleta you are definitely busy. I can't believe how much gross anatomy you are doing. You have got your hands full. I think that you can make it through the other half of the semester. You're a smart girl! =)

ok anonymous asshole, it IS as bad as I'm making it sound. Everyone I know in my gross anatomy class is going through a LOT of difficulty to memorize every little detail about EVERY muscle. Yeah DUH i already knew a lot of muscles, but I knew only the general muscles that I've learned about in regular A&P and other bio classes, nothing about all the tiny little muscles I'd never heard of before. How dare you tell me I should already know most of these! Did YOU know the origin, insertion, action, innervation, and blood supply for EVERY muscle before YOU took gross anatomy? It's not just the muscles, it's the nerves and arteries- all their branches and their pathways- we have to be able to describe their course in the body. Oh yeah, and the bones..... no shit I know what a humerus or scapula looks like, but I had to learn all the little tubercles and everything which isn't that hard, but then you have to add in what nerves/arteries are going around the bones and what muscles attach to each bone in each little spot..... yeah it's ( ... )

ok smart ass i dissected the body to the same way but in my lab I was one out of ten people in my lab and I took it with taking 4 other classes...and yes it was hard and one of the coolest things i have ever done...but not as hard as you make it sound..yes it takes studying but if you spend that long in lab studying and you don't learn most of it your in trouble. and thats a bunch of bull shit that Simmions in one of two schools, maybe like 10 years ago it was but i looked at most schools in the eastern region they dissect the body.

so you can continue to act all conceded about your school being the best well its not most schools do that in there undergraduate now!

good day

in "there" undergraduate? ok

fine then, you prove my advisors and professors wrong and find me a list of all the schools that do a gross anatomy total dissection, not prosection. you think you're right?? prove it.

who the hell are you and how/why did you find my LJ?

Congrats on being a grad student. I'm probably going to take a couple of years to work before I go to grad school. It's really good that you can get all of the degrees that you need in one program. Hang in there. It will totally be worth it.
