It's summer.  I thought I was finished with all exams, but apparently there's three more this july.  So I have to study still.  arghhhh...

I want to, but I don't really feel like finishing that Yamapi oil portrait just yet.  So I just photoshop in his body and the background.  
Next time, for sure it'll be completed.

I like the way you did the hair, nose and lips. As for the eyes, I think he looks a bit sad (dunno if that's your intention or not). ( *＾艸＾)

oh, dear, don't worry about it. Actually I rarely check my own lj except for posting new paintings ^_^
To me, Pi's eyes look sad (beautifully sad) in real life, so I was just trying to capture that. And I'm so so so glad you like the cherry blossoms. You made my day ne. Thank you. I actually mailed the cherry blossom drawing to P-sama and I'd be so embarrass if by chance he saw it and thought it looked ugly.

You sent the cherry blossom drawing to him?! How big was it? I reason I asked is because they're not allow to accept gifts (as you know). I guess you can sneak it in if you've drawn it as postcard size (drawings on the front and your message at the back). If not, I highly suggest you draw another one and sent it to him now. Make sure you write to him in clear and easy English. He's been learning English for the past week or so and he's been talking about it almost every day in his J-Web!! Hallelujah CHANCE!!! (≧∇≦)b

Yeah, for 2 birthdays now, I sent postcard size drawings to him as birthday cards. I figured, instead of buying a card, why not draw one to make it more personal. Such a small simple thing wouldn't be counted as gifts. And I did wrote a simple english haiku as a message. I sure hope he understands it. But then again, I don't even know if the card could actually get to him *sigh*

Oh and he talked so much about learning english these days, don't you get a feeling like he might be nudged to learn english, maybe for a possible part in a hollywood movie of some kind? I really really hope so. Imagine the day our very own P-sama as an international star *driff off to dreamland* ^_^
