does anybody who has one of these things actually discuss anything besides how unfulfilling their life is?
anybody up for politics? the evils of globalization? the fact that television (not the band, the machine) is bad?
i guess it's all just broken hearts and angst.

We are all inherently lonely, which makes for easy commiseration, which makes it a hot topic. Discussing the evils of TV, even when I know i still watch sometimes, or the McWorld problem, is far to complex -- and once again hypocritical in many ways -- because it's fighting against ourselves, instead of saying poor me, which I know is much easier for me, as it seems to be for others.
It is fighting ourselves because as hard as we push against this world, we are it, we are part of it. Which is really depressing. So in contrast, we(I) turn to lamenting our unfulfilling lives, because we can blame the world for that, and leave ourselves out. Trashing America and pop culture and is much more difficult...

As for angst...well, I write about a bad day at work if it happens. But I don't think that really classifies as angst.
I guess I just ramble about daily shit in my journal: movies I've seen, things I've done, stuff that's happened.
By the way, i got here by way of Damnitfeelsgood.
