I saw it during the movies once. After the commercials, a screen came on with "X, will you marry me?". So everyone started waiting for the next part of the commercial. Turned out to be real.

I always swore up and down that if anyone proposed to me in PUBLIC I would say no, just out of principle. Lucky for Ryan he is a private person too...

Actually I'm not as against it as I used to be.
