Going through Neil again. At the moment I'm nearing the end of Good Omens. Might be time to reread Anansi Boys. Haven't read that one in a while.

It's funny...I have loads of favorite authors: Rumer Godden, D.E. Stevenson, Edward Eager, Jasper Fforde, Bernard Cornwell, Ellis Peters, Susan Cooper, Hillary McKay, etc. But whenever anyone asks...All ( Read more... )

I just reread Stardust myself. Most of my favorite authors are dead (!), but as far as contemporary authors go, he's at the top of my list. I haven't reread Anansi Boys in a while... now you're giving me the urge!

I need to get a Neil icon once again... greenhoodloxley March 30 2007, 15:07:01 UTC
Yeah, a lot of mine make people go 'Who?' The same with actors, actually. Lovely obscure British men that everyone should know about, but don't. Ah well, more for me! *grin*

There is no cure for the Gaiman urge.

I have the WORST time answering when someone asks me what my favorite books are. What genre? What period of my life? Favorite because it's really really well-written or struck a cord, or was funny, or I related to it at the time??

Tricky.

I know you had mentioned the Anansi Boys/American Gods ones. But I didn't know there were going to be Good Omens ones. And for some reason, that thought makes me want them very badly indeed.
