I love the 4th of July. I love fireworks. (Incidentally: I'm probably going to drag Wes over in about an hour or less to watch fireworks. He's playing Rainbox Six: Las Vegas right now. Heh heh.)

Ditto about the wishing you were a kid again so you'd get more excited about stuff. I feel that way every time a holiday rolls around. It's like, "Why isn't this more fun? Oh yeah. It's cuz I'm old." But at least you got out of the house on the 4th. I went out after work on the 3rd - to a bbq, and then to the fireworks in Grant Park. It was SUCH a fiasco getting back home (did you see the El issues on the news?), that I had zero motivation to do anything yesterday. I literally did not leave my apartment. On a holiday. I am SO LAME!!!
