As I was walking back to Beta in the warmth of the late afternoon sun, wearing a tie-dyed T-shirt and shorts, and licking an ice cream cone, I thought about how there is something so intrinsically beautiful about the simple things in life like that.

I love summertime in the south.

I miss living somewhere warm! Spring in Massachusetts has its charms, but warmth is definitely not among them.
