None of the books you read are in my genre, but I just wondered. Do you get sick of one author reading a bunch of them in a row? I love Neil Gaiman, but refuse to read more than one of his books in a row cause I'm scared of getting sick of him.

Sometimes. It just depends on the author. I really like that one series by Janet Evanovich. After I read 3 of them I tend to take a break from them for a while. I have two Gaiman books. I have tried to read them however I find his writing style not really interesting. The only one I could get through is Stardust and it really didn't impress me much.

You're one of the few people I've heard that doesn't like Gaiman. But hey, to each their own. I started with his Sandman novels. I think the first novel of his I read was Anansi Boys it was really good. It's probably my favorite so far.

I've only read Good Omens and absolutely hated it. Some people have told me it's because Pratchett's voice is much louder, but I've refused to read anything by either author because I disliked it so much.

I also want to add that I'm a big fan of reading a lot of the same author in a row when I can. Oftentimes, I'll find an author I like and just plow through their entire library of work. It gets a little tiresome at times, but also keeps things fresh for comparison between the books.

Unfortunately, my favorite author is Vonnegut, and he has a very extensive catalog. I have 21 books of his on my shelf...so that's a bit much sometimes, but I love it anyway.
