Stanley Tucci is perfect. Very excited. But slightly worried about how they'll thread continuity after the first film.

I'm a little worried about that too, tbh. There's a line in the USA Today article where the mention that Kronos is the villain at the end of the movie and am all sorts of concerned about that? I know they want to make the rest of the series, so I don't think they'd eff up everything but still... troubling!

At least we have brilliant actors, so they'll make it watchable no matter what.

THINGS TO MAKE NEW ICONS FROM! That first pic definitely calls to be made into a PA icon.

I actually saw these when I was at work on my phone and I may have did a little dance in the break room, I really hope that none of my co-workers saw that. Then I proceeded to skip around because I was that excited.

I was always planning on seeing The Host opening day, but now I can't decide if I'm more excited for The Host movie or the SoM trailer, and honesty the trailer might be winning only cause it's freaking Percy Jackson and it's been 3 years in the making

I hope the trailer gets put online on Monday or over the weekend, otherwise I'll probably have to wait a week to squee and get excited like the rest of the fandom! I knew this would happen once I realized The Host's release date was the same weekend I'd be out of the county for. Siiiiiigh.

I'm pretty good about keeping the the books and the movie divorced in my head, and I don't think the first movie was that terrible except for future continuity issues. I just want the second to be good enough that we get more of them! I hope the fandom doesn't decide to sabotage things because the first movie wasn't OMG AMAZING.
