Wow, there’s a lot to talk about with this book. I almost wish I could through chapter-by-chapter and highlight everything I want to talk about, but that would be a very long post indeed. Just finished the book, and now I'm sobbing to myself at 2 in the morning. No really, how can this couple be this perfect? Gah this book was everything I hoped for. The ending though? I really have to wait a year (or longer because knowing RR we won't get any PA in the next book and that will kill me). I would have more coherent thoughts but right now my mind is all OMG P/A LET ME LOVE YOU FOREVER. ALL YOU WANTED TO DO WAS STAY TOGETHER. BAWWHH PERFECT.

They are legit the definition of OTP at this point, I don't care about anyone else's favorites. Percy/Annabeth is the KING OF ALL.

My number one concern right now is how Annabeth's going to get through Tartarus with a mangled up leg. She broke her ankle, then twisted it, then about got her leg torn off before Percy let go of the ledge and dropped them both. I don't know if the little bit of ambrosia she ate is going to work that well, unless Percy has a large supply...

Also, let me tell you how much I'm feeling for Reyna and how upset I am with Jason for choosing Piper and a camp he's only known about for six months, vs Camp Jupiter where he's lived for 14 years. Really, Jason? Waddup bro.

You just touched on every single one of my feelings.

I'm still in a catatonic state re: Percy and Annabeth basically falling into the deepest pits of hell but I love how Annabeth didn't do the cliche thing and didn't even try pulling a 'No I won't let you die with me don't you dare pull this cheesy shit on me Jackson!' because she knows there was no way it would work, what with Percy being as stubborn as she is. Instead she just accepts his decision and allows him to let go of the ledge because (and maybe it's my headcanon talking but whatevs) if there was anyone who could make her feel like she could take on the world with a broken ankle, it was Percy because as RR says, Annabeth always felt braver whenever Percy was around.

Ndkjfnadkjfnajslnfasdlashd. I just have so much love for these two. They are going to kick total ass and see Kronos again, causing shit to go down in Tartarus, obviously.
