I love that Annabeth refers to him as Piper's boyfriend rather than Thalia's brother, and wonder at what point she thought to have Piper Charmspeak in the event that the Romans didn't trust untrustworthy-but-ruggedly-handsome Jason either.

Can't even describe all the things going through my head right now. BUT MY DREAM OF AN ANNABETH POV CAME TRUE. BEST NEWS EVER.

I feel strangely gratified that this "too perfect" thing is being addressed with Jason. Somehow because of thewindwarns's fics I feel more open with his character for this book, so that's awesome.

And ANNABETH as narrator is frankly the BEST. She's so human and smart and I loved the emotions we saw from her at about 6:10.

Two words: dubstep soundboard.

And a cliffhanger, of course! But I am extremely excited for this book. October 2nd, come ever quickly!

I want to know what the "chilling feeling" is. I bet Gaea is going to pop out of somewhere or send some vicious storm spirits to knock them out of the sky. RR said he had to cut the last book off for a reason...probably because shit's about to go down. I want to know what the deal is with Athena too. BASICALLY I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING. I'm so glad I live near a store that puts the books out a week (or more) early. :D Watch this be the only year they don't do it.

Now I need to try and get this out of my head so I can start reading The Serpent's Shadow.
