From this month's Elle magazine: They Like It Like That: Why Every Woman is Desirable

This is probably just about the most skeevy thing I've read in a looooong time. It's like a cross between a shitty Harlequin and a horror novel, emphasis on the horror. Ugh.

feminism, fail, my rage let me show you it, omgwtf

What... what the fuck is that? Did they put out a request for "skeevy guys wanted" or something for that article? *headdesk*

I hope he doesn't regularly write for Elle because that would make me super uncomfortable if I was working there.

I READ THAT TOO. And I refuse to believe all guys are like that, ie that the moment they walk into any room, they start having imaginary sex with every woman there. I need to not believe this because if it were actually true, it would be impossible for me to ever interact with any male again without feeling violated.

I feel really bad for whoever is married to those creeps.

FURTHERMORE, why would Elle think it's good news for women that guys objectify every breathing creature with a vagina? Are we THAT desperate to be desirable? Jeez.

I KNOW. I don't know how anyone at Elle let this past the editing desk, let alone be printed, without saying, "Uh...this is horrific and wrong, BURN IT WITH FIRE."

I like to tell myself into this that these type of guys are in the minority of the Normal Dude population for comfort.

Okay, upon rereading this article, I am laughing because the authors apparently are really skeevy, but NOT SKEEVY ENOUGH TO HAVE IMAGINARY SEX WITH UNDERAGED GIRLS, YES THAT IS WHERE THEY DRAW THE LINE. Lol.

I wish that article had a comment section because I'd be all over it. I just don't understand how any woman on staff felt comfortable printing that.

That is a joke right? No really that cannot be a real article. It's too, too wrong to be true. And if that really is some insight into manland then count me the fuck out. Nunnery here I come.

I wish it was, like, some really terrifying parody into the minds of men, but I've met way too many bros like that for it not to be. It's even got all the, "Women just want providers and don't think about sex, hurhur," cliches we know and love!

Glad to see that Elle knows me and my love of cliches so well!

This aticle can DIAF. It's perverted and janky and makes me really uncomfortable about riding the metro.

... that's just wrong. Why isn't it April? If it was anywhere near April 1st, I could wishfully think away the whole thing.
