La Rondine - yeah, I know it's one of Puccini's operas, but I've never seen it. It looks like the Met Opera's doing an HD broadcast of it tomorrow*, though (is that the one you're seeing, by chance?)

*: Hmm...I may be hitting the multiplex tomorrow.

Yes, that is in fact what it is- it's the broadcast to specific multiplexes of the Met Opera's performance. Or Something. Anyway, it promises to be cool!

dunno if we can match for performance, but as for venue -- the Omaha summer Shakespeare on the Green fest is a treat, outdoor amphitheater, local and professional talent mixed. Grab some wine and brie, and settle in for the evening, is much fun.
