for english i have to write a paper, and i thought i'd attempt to appeal to you all for any random help you could give. MY paper is on a cultural movie of my choosing that has to negate ideas of a theory

honestly, what you said helped out a lot. i may not have been able to use what you said in my paper, as i do have to negate the theory...but it actually made me perceive things better and even attempt to turn the entire theory around. Perhaps Joel as a tragic hero goes through the hero process backwards...im a little tired for now after writing two papers though, so if you would like me to go on in my thought process of the hero myth backwards let me know, and ill post it up sometime.
