This is so good, man. I love the image of Draco growing dissillusioned with Lucius, and I knew there were daddy issues galore there all along; it's something that I wouldn't be surprised to find in canon one day, you know, it's just so thoughtful and probable. And the sense of 'time being out of joint' fits so, so well the confusion and displacement and being in between. And also, hi, hot. Zabini, you Cock Manipulator Extraordinaire, you.

I am sovery pleased you like this in exactly the way you do 'cause the daddy issues and all that, well, I was a bit worried I was being... I'm not sure exactly but something not good and that it would come across as trite and over done. And yeah. Insecurities gone. *smooches*

OMG IT EXISTS. & is PROOF that zombies really are good for you. or something like that, anyway.

i love the mood of this - at first i was like 'no dialogue? omg i have no attention span' but! your writing is quite engaging enough on it's own, so have a gold star. ;)
The shadows continue stretch their long fingers across the cobbles: love this, can see this. i like the idea of shadows and light as beings in their own right, you know? & the word 'insinuate' is so Slytherin, it's this absolutely perfect word.

mm, & i know that feeling of losing hold on time, of forgetting the date so completely; wah. i love that Blaise got kicked out & Draco's only just started to wonder why. >) B is so good at distracting. & what's he studying? & what's going on, anyway? I NEED TO KNOW. but don't tell me. i like guessing. >)

i'll stop nagging now. for a whole day, at least. :P
