My entry for the June
Coil challenge. Theme of summer. And, well, it sort of got away from me a bit and, I can't say that the theme of this is summer exactly, though it does take place during the summer. I did manage to use *counts on fingers* 12 out of the 15 words (depending on what the definition of using the words is. If I'm not allowed to use

i would rate this an "r" though ... just to be safe... considering that there's blatant talk of cocks and cocks being put in people's mouths. ^^;

guh ... with the "every shadowmovement is Blaise" and the "fabric draped loosely over tanned skin" and the sweltering sun ...
my favourite moment, however, is this:
This particular passage ends just at the edge of the lake where the soil is moist and water drip drip drips from the moss covered stone ceiling, down Draco’s neck and under the collar of his shirt no matter where he sits. Most likely cursed.
Yes. Most likely. Wonderful. Shall friend you, if you have no objections.

I'm particularly fond of that bit myself so, yeah, glad you liked it. :)
Wonderful.

It's so much fun to write about what Draco hates, isn't it? His hatred of heat and sun and summer, i think, is particularly Canon. Excellent work!

heh, yeah. I thinki it's almost like an addiction. Everything seems to come back to what Draco hates.

Thank you thank you. It's alway great to hear that what I'm writing fits with canon.

This is--perfect. This is how I want to write when I grow up. This is snarky and dissatisfied and so Draco, the power freak. And so sensual, so incredibly crisp I can taste it. You are one hell of a writer.

I'll try. But, til I manage that, I did write a drabble and another ficlet while you were gone, that you might not have seen.

*bounces* 'Cause I've always considered the whole fanfic writing thing a sort of practice, like a writing exercise or something, and it's really hard to tell from inside my own head if it's working or not so, yeah, really really good to know. thankyouthankyou
but the style here, and wordsruntogether
w00t. Again, with the whole I-can't-tell-myself-and-it's-good-to-hear thing. 'Cause, style, heh, sometimes I feel like I'm just writing a muddled bunch of what every other writer I read writes and not my own style, or something. yeah. And I just can't seem to help myself with the wordsruntogether, 'cause, well sometimes it's just the only thing that works, you know?
*basks in the luxurious praise*
