This show. Oh, this show. It knows all my buttons and continues to mash them in the best ways ever. GUH. Really, this episode was fnatastic.
Dean! And SAM OH GOD SAM! And dude. I'm wondering about Dixon. You think the boys offed him? Because they didn't show it, and you'd think they would have shown it considering they always show when they off a supernatural thingy or at least refer to it. And they did neither in this case.
Seriously. This was like the button mashing to end all button mashing. I can't remember the last time I squirmed with such glee at TV.
You know, I don't think they did off him. Or at least now that I think about it I really want them to not have, but it would be kind of inconsistent if they didn't. Though, not showing them kill him is also inconsistent so I don't really know. hmm. I think it wocl be great if he's still alive (or well undead, whatever) and somehow hooks up with Lenore and her crew. I mean he just wanted a family anyway so that could really work out.
I am loving LOVING what they're doing with Sam this season. He is walking that line so perfectly and the only thing better than that is well, Dean teaching him to work on the car. :)
I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat and shouting at the TV the whole time. It was fantastic. XD
Actually, if you think about it, letting Dixon go would consistent for them. They let go the last batch of vampires with a sob story in 'Bloodlust' when they first ran into Gordon because Gordon was the bigger monster they had to deal with. The same could be said for 'Fresh Blood'. And the fact that the episode titles tie into each other was a nice touch and another similarity that only just occurred to me because I'm slow.
You know what would be awesome? If the boys got some vampires on their side to fight in the final battle. Not saying it will happen, but it would be awesome.
And yeah, Sam is rocking my socks this season. Between him being the cutest thing alive and being the go-to guy, I have a whole new love of him.
And I so need to put all of this in a journal entry.
DUDE. Clearly you are some sort of genius 'cause Bloodust/Fresh Blood and the Gordon connection. Until it's proven otherwise I hearby decide that it is true. It just makes so much sense.
If the boys got some vampires on their side to fight in the final battle. That would be so completely awesome I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I was having vague thoughts to that effect when I was thinking about Dixon and Lenore. It seems unlikely that it will happen in canon but, wow, do I ever want that fic now.

I feel like I've been giving a gift seeing Dean working on the car like that. And he's got those protectors for the fenders. *heart melts*
