Have finished Deathly Hallows. I feel like it's been a week I was so IN the book time passed strangely and now I'm out the other side and just. I can't really think about it. I loved it, but I can't really think about it, it's all so much. I feel like it may take me a week to get my thoughts in order 'cause the book was so dense that even half way ( Read more... )

i was hoping to hang out with you sometime this week, maybe catch HP & TOotP? (i didn't end up seeing it the other day) jlynn is theoretically going to her mom's one of these days & her grandfather is taking her. himph.

meh. i also have to spend some time w/ josh. i've neglected the poor boy. (also i went away last weekend & he went away this weekend.) maybe we can all go see it?

OotP! Yes! I've only seen it once so far and I need to see it again for sure (would have seen it this weekend if it weren't for the book. K suggested, when he and D and I were at R's for dinner before going to get the book at midnight, that we go see the movie on Sat. and D and I were like, hello. Book).

Um, anyway, yeah. We should work that out 'cause all of us going sounds like lots of fun.

I didn't end up getting a frappe, but I did get two different kinds of Ben & Jerry's and some wine so it all works out. :)

I still have almost 500 pages before I can talk to you. Why?

I keep BAKING and TALKING ON THE PHONE. Oh, and NAPPING. I know.

But, haha, someone on my flist said that they were writing Ron/Hermione dryhumping-in-Grimmauld-Place fic and that excited me. MOCK AS YOU WILL.

500 pages? But that means you've only read 200!? Your book reading-fu is no match for your TV watching-fu. You should really work on that.

D and I basically sat on the couch all day Sat. and read (with the occasional running outside where we could talk without spoiling the boys) while T played WoW and K amused himself with my comics (he said he's never read a comic before, how weird is that?).

I'll not mock. I totally want to read that.

I am now halfway through, almost exactly (I'm on page 363). See, I was delayed in beginning reading by a) being too drunk on the night of, and then b) hungover the next day. Plus! I was busy on Saturday morning/afternoon doing "things" so I would be able to just read and not think about anything else. Plus, people kept calling me. And then I was sleeping. So, yeah.
