The music plays over the credits on the TV. Rani walks across and switches it off saying, “Ready for bed? I know I am!” I wriggle uncomfortably, “I think I’ll stay up a while...” Rani looks concerned, “What’s wrong?” I hesitate, “You’ll laugh at me...” “I won’t. Promise.” I look down at my hands, “Well... It’s those Daleks they’re gonna come and get me I just know it!” I say in a rush. Rani pauses, then says, “Well, if they did... Wouldn’t The Doctor save you?” I am mildly reassured by this, and agree to ascend the stairs, with Rani.
