100 drabbles - 19 Sundress

Prompt: 19. Sundress

The brightly coloured paper crinkles under my fingers as I tear it to reveal the present underneath. I unfold the soft fabric and hold it up in front of myself. It is a beautiful sundress, made of softest cotton, deep purple with white tie-dyes. “I hope you like it,” Says Rani, shyly. “I tie-dyed it myself, I know how you burn easily in your bikini...” She blushes furiously. I dash over to her and fling my arms around her neck. “I love it!” I exclaim. “It’s absolutely beautiful, and just what I need. I shall try it on right now!”
