Jasmine isn't happy.

She wasn't happy when Eight-Hour fire-moved her to the fringes of civilization.

She was, if anything, less happy when she discovered she had to walk four hours just to get within reach of Downside public transport, and that the subsequent ride home took another four hours

"We could lock her in a grain silo," Clark offers, thoughtfully.

[downsidedarling]

"It'd have to be a fuck of a grain silo. I wouldn't put it past Jazz to pull a Houdini on us if we tried an inferior specimen."

Jazz frowns.

"Surely this world contains some form of harmless diversion other than captivity?"

It's not like torturing people is her only hobby. She can behave! Really! Honest!

Clark gives Jasmine his best 'are you fucking serious?' look.

"For normal people, yeah. Somehow I don't think you remotely count."

[downsidedarling]

"As somebody who's known her for thousands of years, I gotta say, in all that time I've never seen her do more outside her job than cook the occasional meal. I'm backing the grain silo idea."

...Damn. This really isn't going well.

Normally this would be the point where Jasmine started threatening people, but she seems to have foolishly placed herself between the two people in existence she's incapable of threatening.

If only Clark were somehow out of the picture.

Jazz has never wished for anything more than she wishes for one of those green stones right now.

Clark frowns. "We can go back forth whenever we want. Can't we just take her with us?"

[downsidedarling]

"I have responsibilities," says Anna softly. "If I went back I'd have to stick around a while. There's things I'd need to get done."

Things like removing Jasmine from her position of authority.

"What, so they'd make it so you absolutely couldn't leave again until you dealt with it?"

[downsidedarling]

"Non, cheri. I'd stick around of my own volition, because there's shit I need to clean up."

[hero_farmboy]

"Well, you can do it later. This," he gestures toward Jasmine without really looking at her, "is more important right now."

[green_and_white]

Jasmine grins slowly.

"A lover's spat. How... cute."

[downsidedarling]

Anna figures it's Jasmine's turn to be ignored.

"This is exactly what I need to clean up. I said I'd take her the fuck out if I ever went back."

[hero_farmboy]

Clark, it seems, isn't as good at ignoring Jasmine. She gets glared at.

"So, what, I'm just supposed to keep her locked up at the farm for however long this is going to take? Yeah, that's going to work."

[downsidedarling]

"Well, I could always just give her what she came for."

Shrug.

"No way in hell Jazz'd trap herself here. She can go home if she wants to bad enough."

[green_and_white]

"I support this suggestion fully," remarks Jasmine dryly. "Though of course I can't leave here before my time is up."

There's a touch of Lex in the way she spins that second lie.
