RULES

Aug 23, 2010 15:21

Main Rules:
  • Posting in your journal is mandatory. We want active people - if that’s you, then feel free to join!
  • We do accept both Korean and Japanese muses.
  • No godmodding or metagaming!
  • Character deaths are NOT allowed under any circumstances, so please refrain from letting that happen.
  • Activity checks will happen monthly - a mod will post in the ooc community and your muses will reply (one response per muse). Know that if you choose not to post in your personal journal or sorority/fraternity comm, you are at risk of being kicked out.
  • OOC drama most definitely does not mean IC drama, so please, don’t bring that mess to our home.
  • Don’t act like a spelling/grammar Nazi. We are all here to learn and have fun.
  • We’re not accepting professors.
  • Two muses per mun! However, they cannot be from: the same band, same fraternity/sorority, or in the brother/sister fraternity/sorority.
  • The school is year-round, and we do run on an American schedule.

Dormitory Rules:
  • Absolutely no drugs or alcohol allowed in the rooms.
  • There is no curfew set, but that does not entitle you to march around the halls, singing at the top of your lungs.
  • Sex is allowed, of course, but please be courteous to your roommate and/or fellow brothers/sisters.
  • Quiet hours begin at 11PM on weekdays and 1AM on weekends.
  • Lounges can be used from 4PM - 8PM, and will only be used for studying.
  • Clean up after yourselves (this isn’t elementary) and keep the campus beautiful.

Greek Rules:
  • Any kind of hazing will not be tolerated.
  • There may not be under-aged drinking at parties.
  • Presidents are responsible for making up their own set of rules and post them in their respective communities.
  • You must maintain a 2.5 GPA (or higher, depending on the rules of the fraternity/sorority president) or you risk getting kicked out.
  • Younger and newer members of fraternities/sororities are to treat the upperclassmen with respect! Respectful terms such as hyung, noona, unni, and oppa should be used.
  • Each fraternity/sorority president must appoint a vice president prior to the year starting.
  • Presidents maybe overthrown if members find them to be unfit and neglecting presidential duties (though 2/3 of the sorority/fraternity must agree upon this.)

President’s Job Description:

Please do not apply as a fraternity/sorority president if you know you do not have the time to be active, or you are really shy and do not like randomly initiating conversations with people. Being a president requires a little more work than being a regular member. We expect each president to talk with each member at least once, and from then on continue a decent and/or close relationship. They must welcome new members, post discussions, and make sure their members feel like they are at home and are active. Again, presidents must set rules for their house, host events, and interact with other presidents.
