So dramatic! I really love they way that you referenced Impmon's experiences with Ai and Mako while he's trying to figure Juri's actions out. And that last line where things finally dawn on Beelzemon kills me, it's just so perfect ;_;

Hee, you read it again. :D

I really enjoyed that; I was so giddy when the Twins occurred to me. Ai and Mako are really important--I figured a lot of what Impmon learned (consciously or not) was through them, observing them, etc. That's definitely true when he pretty much writes off the human race after their fights and putting him in the middle. I just really like the idea, someone as young as him learning a lot about life and "how to act" from a couple of toddlers. XD And so, yeah, he uses the Twins' actions to try to figure out what Juri did, 'cause based on that, Jeri makes no sense--Ai and Mako's fights always snowballed out of control from reaction after reaction, but when Jeri does nothing in response to the truly horrible thing he did, Impmon/Beezlemon's super confused. ...Arrgh, I just explained some of the fic that probably was clear on it's own. ^^;

And that last line where things finally ( ... )

Just discovered this today, and already I've read it four times. The characterization is fantastic; this is how I imagine Beelzebumon thought at this time, and... wow. Just amazing how you wrote him. I can really sense the conflict after the scene where Juri saved him, and his confusion when he found the one human that proved him wrong -- that not all humans are selfish as he once thought.
And the last three sentences...
Just wow. I can really feel his panic upon the realization that his way of thinking-- as well as the actions he took-- had both been horribly, horribly wrong, and the gravity of the situation dawns on him.
This is amazing. Thank you for writing this.
