Yes, they love FMA, and how can they not? I swear, that show has EVERYTHING. Humor, tragedy, love, horror, etc.

Dude, your friend that thought Scar was hot has good taste! ^__^ Do they know yet about SxL, or are they oblivious? If oblivious, you must convert them to SxLism! We need more SxL fans!

And I'm the same as Shizu - none of my buddies in the area are into FMA, let alone anime at all. I did have one, but she moved away, though we still talk about it when we can. Oh well, I'm happy to have online buddies that love FMA!

Heh heh, yes, must convert her to SxL...but I don't think I'll bang her over the head with it, I'll let the show do the dirty work. ;)

She's going to eventually figure it out, simply because the show's going to tell her--ep.31, "Sin," pretty much screams out the answer, or at least implications of the inevitable conclusion.
