So, here's the 80s music CD I spent several hours compiling this evening. I got the songs from my brother, since he owns so many albums from the 80s. It's not perfect, since there is one major song that he didn't have (Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell") and there are a few songs that could possibly be improved upon, but overall, I think it rocks pretty ( Read more... )

instead of Def Leppard's "Photograph", you should have "Pour Some Sugar On Me".

and you totally need "Take Me Home Tonight" by Eddie Money.

Um, "Take Me Home Tonight" is already on the list. It's number 5.

I thought about putting "Pour Some Sugar On Me" on there, but I decided against it. Can't remember why though.

So I read you list to the girls at work (oh and Robert, our only guy)... and we all agreed that that is an amazing combination of songs. More than just Bravo to you...

Me thinks you should burn a copy and send it to me as a belated birthday gift? Lord knows Upstate NY needs some more entertainment :)

I'm thinking of making some changes to the final list... I was thinking of taking out "Rock Me Amadeus" and "One Night In Bangkok", since they sound kind of out of place when everything is very guitar heavy. I was going to replace those with "Rebel Yell" (since I have it now) and Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger". I was also contemplating replacing "Photograph" with "Pour Some Sugar On Me". Which version would you prefer?

I really dig the mix so far. i like it a lot - a lot of great songs. :)
I don't think there's too much I could add for now, i know you want to keep it to one disc. I'm not sure what else to suggest...after all the other good suggestions haha i'm outta ideas
