As you know Francesco Pachi and me introduce our new project about Great Persons in the World of Knives.
The name of Francesco Pachi is well known for knife masters and not only for them.
A talented man is talented in any craft, so Francesco is known not only with his knife masterpieces highly appreciated by collectors: for a long time he was the head of, probably, one of the most famous knife Guilds in the world, the Italian Knife Guild.
Besides, he makes amazing photographs appreciated by collectors not less than his knives.
Currently he his occupied with photography only. But still the knife world, be these real knives, photographs, exhibitions, books, or anything else, here are his world and his life.

Пожалуй, на сегодняшний день Франческо, в прошлом знаменитый найфмейкер, является самым известным фотографом, передать ножи для съёмки которому, уже большая честь.
Ни для кого не секрет, что ножи, которые появлятся в Каталогах,"приобретают дополнительную ценность".
Мы вместе с Франческо хотим рассказать вам о Людях, которые стоят за этими ножами.

Пекка - удивительный человек. Обаяние, талант, чувство жизни и прекрасного - всё в нём есть. Он обаятелен и очень трудолюбив. И если вам повезёт - когда-нибудь у вас в своей коллекции будет его нож.
Кажется, ему подвластно всё в создании нового ножа: от идеи ло реализации.
Он Мастер полного цикла, скажем так.

Pekka is an amazing person. Charm, talent, a sense of life and beauty - everything in it is. He is charming and very hardworking. And if you're lucky - one day you will have his knife in your collection.
Pekka Tuominen Custom Knives is one man's handcraft company. Totally handmade production includes all kinds of knives: puukkos, leukus, hunting knives, daggers, folders etc. Production is mainly custom orders (waiting list for delivery in the autumn 2017 is more then 1½ years from order) and I also take part in 3 - 5 international knives shows per year.

2009 Master Bladesmith (Accepted by the Ministry of Education of Finland (FNBE)
Former degrees; forestry worker, Wilderness Guide, Youth Worker,.
Former work; Youth leader, military servise, (in Middle-East and Balkan area) and farmer

2003-2009 Several medals ( 11 pcs. ) in Puukko-making competitions during years
2003 Year's Cultural Act of Keitele municipality
2010 Shared first prize at the Poro-desing contest
2011 First prize at the Puukko contest of Metsästys ja Kalastus -magazine
2012 The Art Award of the Art Comittee of Northern Savolax
2013 The Finnish Bladesmith of the year
