I think what was interesting about this poem was that it seems to be so obvious and yet there is a way in which the verses have been crafted that makes it feel like a revelation. Interesting use of words and a very delicate scansion, though slightly pompous at times. Thanks for Sharing.

The poem is a beauty.. no doubt!!!
Loved it all... especially where it says --

"what do I rediscover about silence
except that I would always miss it?" and

"Does solitude offer strength over time, or
is denial of it the only practical aim?" and

"When all light finally
forsakes a room, do we take the time
to interrogate the dark, and to what end?"

Dunno but something about the way it talks about silence, solitude, practicality and interrogating the darkness -- leaves you back with enough questions/thoughts to ponder over!

Loved the effort made to find meanings behind all that misses our attention, time and again!
