i actually got this poem in a letter from my birthmother...
gibran seems to be important in more than one aspect then. congratulations :)

Ah- the piece you posted is only one chapter in the book. He has a chapter on love, marriage, children, work, death, religion... It's a masterpiece, and I highly recommend it.
