OK. I figured I'd just go ahead and get this going. I'm making a master post of sorts for some Marvel comics. These lists and links are by no means complete but since it's going to take me a rather long while to get them all up I thought I'd make it a work in progress. For X-Men.. if you don't mind not having a perfect jumping in point the last batch of the Uncanny 526-Onward. The X-Men Legacy ones are recent as well. And those will lead you into Schism. The X-Mens will lead into Schism, I guess. Thor 600-621 (v1 cont) and The Mighty Thor (2011) and Journey Into Mysteries are recent Thor.

and then the Fear Itself comics. That's all I got that's actually recent or up to date.

So, I should read all that before Fear Itself or will a general knowledge of the verse suffice?

I'd really love his Origins series or just the 2008 series (http://marvel.com/comic_books/issue/22021/deadpool_2008_1) or whatever you have you'd recommend!

:D well, I'm trying to continue to update it. I've fallen a month or so behind and need to catch actually.

Yeah, if you want to catch up and be current with X-Men then that's the way to go. Though I do recommend reading "House of M", "Messiah Complex" and the "Second Coming" stories (which are rather recent) because those stories give the basic blocks of the current state of mutantkind in the Marvel Universe.

stumbled onto here - i've just decided to try tackling the comics ever since i watched Thor, so this post is a godsend! but sadly some of the links are down since megaupload's gone now...would it be possible to re-upload them? particularly the Journey into Mystery ones...

hello i thank you for this masterpost!!! but since megaupload is down could you please possibly upload the avengers ultimates somewhere else, because i'm new to comics and i really want to read those but can't find them anywhere else! thanks in advance!
