Still here! I'm doing... moderately OK, due to job issues. Doing some bookbinding in my free time.

I'm back, days later! I've missed you, too! I had some bad times job-wise as well. I was unemployed for 7 months. I got a new job with DIMG (Disney Interactive Media Group) about 2.5 months ago, and it's going well. I've been a contractor, but they're supposed to make me full time some time this week. I'm doing pretty much the same stuff I've always done. I dip in and out of Facebook these days, but don't put a fraction of the energy into it that I have here.

I hope your job issues turn around soon. I think I'll get back to posting in here, at least semi-often. I've missed this small group of distant friends :)

DIMG sounds like a cool place -- and with it being bigger than your previous employer, there will probably be more room to do more 'toolsmithing'! I hope that works out!

I kept myself away from Facebook -- LJ serves my purposes well, and there's LinkedIn for professional stuff.

I'm confident that I will be able to find a cool job to do -- don't worry! I have some nice leads, but you'll be able to read all about it in my LJ as it develops. :)

I look forward to reading your posts again!

I spent about 7 months laying around watching TV while unemployed. Now I'm back to work and getting settled back into that kind of life.

I'm still here, too. Posts are few and far between, and generally custom-posted to an elite friend group for privacy.

I like it. Timb and Scott are pretty much the only ones on there, but whatever. It's a convenient place to post, especially from mobile. I wouldn't say it's any better than LJ though, although I guess the automatic photo hosting is nice.
